Meet Dr. Lupe Valdez
Licensed Professional Counselor
Lupe Flores Valdez is the Director of South Texas Family Connections. She received her Doctorate in Marriage & Family Counseling at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
South Texas Family Connections offers a series of educational seminars and workshops for "at-risk" families in the Coastal Bend.
Partners who have utilized services include: Department of Criminal Justice Weed and See Program, Corpus Christi Independent School District, Spaulding for Children Adoption Agency of South Texas, other non-profit, for-profit, and governmental agencies.

Dr. Valdez's clinical experience includes providing educational workshops and counseling services to military families, adjudicated youths and their families, pre-marital and martial couples, adoptive families, and other at-risk families.
Dr. Valdez hopes to continue to facilitate educational groups, provide therapy services, and raise public awareness for minority and underserved populations dealing with mental heath, substance abuse, and other related issues.
Her unique combination of compassion, intelligence, and leadership ability allows her to perform at a high level in any situation
